Be the next step after the report.
ChatMend reads people’s own conversations and shows them the pattern. When the pattern is worth taking further, the report points to a licensed clinician nearby. We are building that list now, and the first members join free.

They arrive with the work started
Every report ends with a next step. Someone who has just read a clear account of their own pursue-withdraw cycle is a warmer first call than a directory browser, and they bring the timeline with them.
Matched on state and focus
Listings are shown only to people in a state you are licensed in, and ranked by what the report actually found - attachment work, couples, conflict and repair, a breakup.
Nothing runs through us
No booking engine, no intake, no messages. People contact you the way you already take clients. We never see who becomes a client and never ask.
How the money works
Said plainly, because you already know the rules and will look for this.
A flat listing fee. Not a cut, not a per-lead charge.
You pay the same amount whether two people contact you or twenty. ChatMend never takes a share of a session fee and never charges per referral. That is the same model Psychology Today and GoodTherapy use, and it is the model the law allows.
Why it has to be that way
Paying a percentage of therapy fees, or a bounty per client, is fee-splitting or patient brokering under most state licensing statutes, and for anyone who bills Medicare or Medicaid it can fall under the federal Anti-Kickback Statute. It can cost a clinician their licence. We would rather earn less and have you on the directory for years.
What it costs
Founding listings are free for the first six months, in exchange for honest feedback and permission to say you are listed. After that it is $29 a month or $290 a year - matching the directory every therapist already pays for, because we send fewer leads and warmer ones, not more. You can leave at any time and your listing simply comes down.
What we ask of you
A current licence in good standing, verified against your state board before anything is published.
Your credential, state, and whether you offer telehealth.
A short paragraph in your own words. You approve the listing text before it goes live.
That you keep your own intake. We do not handle scheduling, payment or records.
Apply for a founding listing
Free for six months, then $29 a month. Licensed clinicians in the United States. Nothing is published until your licence is verified and you have approved the text.
Questions
Who sees my listing?
People who have finished a ChatMend report and are in a state where you are licensed. Listings are not published as an open directory page for search engines; they appear at the end of a report and on the therapy-prep guide.
Do you tell me anything about the person?
No. Nothing from a report is shared with you. If someone wants to bring their timeline into a session, that is their choice to make with you directly.
Is ChatMend making clinical claims?
No. ChatMend describes itself to users as educational insight, not diagnosis, and says so on every report. The directory exists precisely so that when a pattern is worth taking further, a licensed person is one click away.
Can I be listed in more than one state?
Yes, one licence per state. Apply once and list the additional states in the note; we verify each.
What happens after I apply?
We check your licence with the state board, email you a draft listing to approve, and switch it on. Nothing is charged during the founding period, and you will be told a month before any fee starts.
